What types of training do you offer?

We offer a variety of training programs including group lessons, private lessons, behavior modifications and board and trains!

Do you guarantee that my reactive/aggressive dog will be "fixed" through your training program?

While we cannot guarantee a complete "fix" for reactive or aggressive behavior, our training programs are designed to provide you with the tools and techniques to better manage these situations. We will work closely with you to understand your dog's specific needs and develop a customized plan to help improve their behavior. With consistent practice and patience, you can see significant improvements in your dog's behavior.

What methods do you use for training?

For puppies, we primarily use positive reinforcement techniques. This involves rewarding good behavior with treats, praise, or playtime to encourage them to repeat those behaviors. For older puppies and dogs, we use a balanced training approach. This combines positive reinforcement with other techniques to address more complex behaviors. Our goal is to create a well-rounded training experience that suits the individual needs of each dog.

What is an e-collar and why do you use it?

An e-collar, or electronic collar, is a versatile training tool that can help enhance communication with your dog, especially during off-leash play! We use e-collars as part of our balanced training approach for older puppies and dogs to provide clear and consistent feedback. When used correctly and humanely, e-collars can be a highly effective way to reinforce training commands and encourage positive behavior. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of your dog, and we strive to make training a positive and rewarding experience for both you and your furry friend.

Will I need to continue training at home?

Yes, continuing training at home is an important part of your dog's success! Consistency is key when it comes to reinforcing the skills and behaviors your dog learns during our sessions. By practicing at home, you help solidify their training and ensure long-lasting results. Don’t worry, we’ll provide you with all the guidance and support you need to make training at home a positive and effective experience for both you and your dog.

What if my dog doesn’t improve?

We’re committed to helping every dog succeed! If your dog needs a bit more support, we offer the option to add private lessons to any of our training packages for an additional fee. These personalized sessions allow us to focus on your dog's unique needs and challenges; ensuring they get the extra attention they deserve. We’re confident that with the right approach, every dog can make great progress and achieve their training goals.
